Youth participating in mission trips and outreach programs will learn what it means to live out their faith by being the voice, hands and love of Jesus Christ..  The youth have participated in the following weeklong mission trips:

• Saginaw, Michigan - Y.E.S. (Youth Encounter Service) program to help with various projects.

• Dominican Republic - Vacation Bible School program and visited the homes of the poor and elderly.

• New Orleans, Louisiana - Cleaned up after Hurricane Katrina.

• Madisonville, Tennessee - Worked with our parish partner to help the poor by participating in local outreach projects which included helping at a local food pantry, battered women's shelter, Good Shepherd Center, and homes of the needy in Monroe County.

• London, Kentucky - Worked at God's Closet (food & clothing pantry), Christian Homeless Shelter, Domestic Violence Shelter, Thrift Store, Greatfull Bread Food Pantry, Flat Lick Falls and home repairs.  The group also ran a "Reading Program" for the children at St. Ann's Catholic Church.

Our youth program have also worked locally by cleaning up our community, Christmas caroling, visiting the homebound, making cookies for the soup kitchen, making cards for our parish shut-ins, collecting items for Christmas Outreach programs, and collecting items for the local food pantry.
